I just think of Office Space every time I walk into Radio Shack, it's wasting so much of my time and energy especially when it seems like my boss is trying to turn us all against each other. I don't even really want to talk about that right now though.
11:11pm--Friday, February 5th. Just a small side project (the photo to the left) through the Art House Co-Op to just take a picture of what you were doing at that exact moment. Mostly just working on Shark Sarah as a pre-Unique print that is all ready to be burned into a screen to print after all of this damn snow. I love how I bring the snow with me once I moved here. I'll be taking a picture tonight of that drawn up and separated since it's on tracing paper right now. I've been doing a lot of research and pre-shopping lately just to get an idea of what all I need to purchase and do to get everything I'm trying to accomplish done ASAP.
I finally found a copy of Alexander Speltz's Styles of Ornament at the Free Library this past Thursday along with a ton of different point of views from the various Artist Books I saw while there. I searched at all these different used book stores for a copy and still came up empty handed so I'll be ordering a copy through B&N tonight so it will be here before the library copy is due back. So I took copious amounts of notes during my visit to the Free Library's Print and Pictures Collection and have gotten more of a solid foundation as to what I will be doing with my artist book. I'm currently putting together the images/imagery so I can have it ready to be printed up once all this snow settles down and I can get in the studio longer than just cleaning the screen (or trying to clean the screen). Thank god I picked up some transparency film from Staples, now I just need some archival tape and to order my cardboard and paper to make my book cover and backing. I'm currently ordering supplies from Hollanders and I need to swing by either PPS or Pocono Screen Supply and get another screen since that one lesbian image will never come out of my screen Zak gave me over summer. My thoughts are just scattered right now, I'm doing too much reading lately I need to just WORK.
